22 miles! or, "I want my soup!"
It felt really good. I feel ready. And I understand the guy from Running on the Sun a little better now. Every runner obsesses about something. For me, right now, soup.
At the 25 mile aid station at yesterday's 50k, they had chicken soup. And chili. The chili looked so damned good, but I saw the possibilities of gastro-intestinal diress over with six miles left, and all I kept picturing was that guy's crew yelling at him, saying that all they could find was Clam Chowder, and did he want that?
I live with three cats and my girlfriend in a small, brightly colored apartment. I teach at a city school that's more "Head of the Class" than "Dangerous Minds." I care a lot about farming.

YES! Another 22 miles bites the dust.
Oh God, I just remembered:

Chili and running--two great things that are not great together.
Jesus, nice grammar on my behalf.

Oh: I'm mentally shot.
